Thy Chea, of Lowell, Mass., center right, originally of Cambodia, hugs his daughter on his arrival at Boston’s Logan Airport, Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, after getting his green card reinstated last year. Chea is the fourth Cambodian refugee to be allowed back into the country after being deported, and just the first on the East Coast, according to Asian American organizations that have been fighting increased deportations of Southeast Asians under President Donald Trump.

Bourne, MA – 5/23/2020: Paul Monti visits his sons grave at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA, where he placed an American flag at his sons grave flag on Memorial Day. Monti is the Gold Star father of Medal of Honor recipient Sfc. Jared Monti, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2006. He is the founder of Operation Flags for Vets where volunteers place 77,000 flags throughout the cemetery for Memorial Day. The event had been canceled this year due to the pandemic.

Burlington-01/08/2020 A funeral mass was held at Saint Margaret’s Church for Massachusetts native Ryan Fortini, a New York State trooper who died from cancer related to the toxic dust from the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in NYC on 9/11.
