Williams will make his second title defense against Juan Rodriguez Jr. on Sept. 16 at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Williams, 30, a former Southern Connecticut State football player, who is a truancy officer in West Haven, will take a 14-0-1 record with six knockouts into the fight.
