Penacook Elementary School fourth-grader Holden Turner, 9, of Penacook visits Chris Foley with his parents, Jeremy and Heather Turner, outside Concord Regional VNA's hospice house in Concord, N.H., on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017. The Turners, and many others, had come to place their candles and say hello Ð and goodbye Ð to Foley, an adored former principal of Penacook Elementary School. Foley was close to finishing his fourth year at the school when a seven-inch sarcoma tumor was discovered in his stomach in March. He died at age 39 surrounded by his family, including a newborn son, in late September.
