COVID-19 Benefit Print Sale Signup

The BPPA and the Boston Women’s Photo League have joined forces to host this sale in support of area photojournalists and documentary photographers who have lost work due to (or have been otherwise impacted by) the coronavirus pandemic. Our goal is to provide an outlet for income by connecting photographers (selling their prints) with potential buyers, and this sale is meant to aid those most financially impacted by the pandemic. We kindly ask that you think before submitting work if this situation applies to you.

The BPPA has also published a list of financial and safety resources for photographers during the global pandemic.

If you are a member of the BPPA and/or the Boston Women’s Photo League and would like to submit an image available for sale please fill out the form (to the right). For photographers who want to help in other ways, you can offer a print for sale and donate the proceeds to a charity.

Some notes to prepare your image:

  • Please submit only ONE image for the sale
  • Please ensure you are the copyright holder of the image being submitted for sale and/or that you are legally allowed to post this image to be sold. 
  • Please make sure your images are formatted to be no greater than 1000 pixels on long side @ 72dpi (maximum file size is 2mb). 
  • Please submit no more than three print size options and list prices to correspond in the order you listed the sizes.

Please note:

Currently only members of the  Boston Press Photographers Association or Boston Women’s Photo League members may submit photos for sale. We acknowledge that things are constantly changing with the current situation and will continue to review the criteria and details for submission accordingly. 

The BPPA and BWPL will not handle any of the sale details or process (i.e. payment details, shipping etc). Contact will be made directly from the buyer to you the seller (photographer) and all arrangements should be made directly between the two parties. This will simply be a hosting site for the sale.
