Boston, November 19, 2015- Nicole Schindler, 10, walks with her oncologist Rachel Bolton in Couture for Cancer Care, a benefit and a fashion show that was organized by the Friends of Massachusetts General Cancer Center. After 9 months of treatment, Nicole, a softball player and jazz dancer, was able to beat brain cancer.

Nurses in this facility are trained in palliative care and give round the clock care to over a dozen patients in this small medical building, a privilege the majority of Kenyans don't have access to.

Every week Pearl and her father check on the beehive, the honeycombs, the queen, and more. "I like the bees because the they don't sting me," said Neafsey. "The bees don't sting me because I take care of them."
