Georgette Jowdy, a worker at Eastleigh Farm in Framingham, cradles her beloved 22-year-old Jersey cow Peaches, the matriach of the dairy farm, shortly before the cow was euthanized by a vetrinarian. Strong-willed Peaches lived a long life for a cow but couldn’t stand up at the end, suffering from arthritis and other ailments. Jowdy knew Peaches for 14 years.
