DEVASTATION AT THE FINISH LINE- WITH THOUSANDS OF RUNNERS STILL ON THE COURSE AT THE 117TH BOSTON MARATHON, TWO EXPLOSIONS ROCKED BOYLSTON STREET JUST YARDS FROM THE FINISH LINE. THREE WERE KILLED AND HUNDREDS WERE INJURED. INSTEAD OF TRIUMPH AND CELEBRATION, THE STREETS IN BOSTON WERE FILLED WITH TERROR AND BLOODSHED.

Boston, MA: 04-15-13: Katherine Swierk (left) is reunited with her aunt Terry Days (center) and friend Jocelyn Cascio outside Copley Square in Boston after the explosions at the Boston Marathon. Swierk was a race volunteer, Cascio ran the race, but was forced to withdraw at 25.6 miles due to the attack.
