The judging took place February 6th and 7th at the Historic Pullman Porter House:
This brick Victorian rowhouse, built circa 1860, was once owned by the Pullman Porter Company. I A. Philip Randolph, the founder of one of the first black unions, the Brotherhood of the Sleeping Car Porters, held meetings on the first floor of this building and has been designated a Historic site in the South End Landmark District. We thank Kevin and McCrea and his wife Dr. Clara Lora for the use of the premises.
